the story goes like this
10 years ago, I was just about to start my student teaching in college when I popped into a Sephora to buy some “adult” makeup. In hindsight, it was probably a brief shopping trip but my memory has turned it into a grand awakening. I walked out of there with a NARS foundation and queued up some beauty tutorials on Youtube as soon as I got home.
Truth be told, I’ve always been a creative. Pursuing a career in teaching was primarily a vessel for my love of reading books. I saw my future full of cozy dinners, grading student papers and reading in coffee shops. I spent some time in the classroom with my 9th and 10th grade students who filled my cup everyday. And even though I didn’t continue my career as a high school English teacher, I couldn’t be more grateful to be living my dream as an artist.

I imagine each makeup look I create like a chapter in the story of your day. Tell me about your flowers, how you met your partner, what makes you feel most confident. From there we create something collaborative and uniquely you.

it’s that even the smallest, most subtle impact you make on a person can make all the difference.
